Aging is a global dilemma. The World Health Organization projects that over the next 20 to 30 years, elderly populations in developed countries will increase by 30 to 140%, and in developing countries this bracket will grow by 200 to 400%. WHO further states that there is neither worldwide public policy nor sufficient resource allocation to provide for the medical, social, and economic needs of a rapidly expanding group of older citizens.

Dr. Dychtwald, a longtime supporter of A4M's goals, will be the featured speaker in a stellar line-up of authorities at the Anti-Aging Conference/Exposition. To enable as many healthcare professionals as possible to hear Dr. Dychtwald's visionary message, his keynote address at 9:15am on Friday, December 6th will be open FREE to all attendees, including those who only register for the Exhibit Hall. Louis Ignarro of UCLA, whose research program's principle objective is to elucidate the mechanisms of regulation and modulation of nitric oxide (NO) production and cytotoxicity in macrophages, vascular cells, and tumor cells. This laboratory employs a wide variety of techniques and procedures to answer important and timely questions pertaining to the biochemistry, molecular biology, and pathophysiology of NO. |
